Rebecca's thoughts on "The Fisherlad, a romantic tale of a bonny lass (and mature love) from Scotland:

What did the wee brown lass give the fisherlad that the bonny lass did not?

Love.

Tell about a time when there was something you wanted to do that your friends thought was weird. What did you do?
It's not the beauty on the outside that counts, it's on the outside.

Tracy's thoughts on Blond Carrie and Brunette Carrie, a story of two sisters from Belgium:

How were the two sisters able to love each another when everyone else favored one over the other?

Because they are family.

Tell about someone who you love even though that person is not perfect. Why do you love that person?
Myself. Because I am not perfect and never will be...just like everyone else!

He didn't lie.

If you were the emperor and choosing a successor, what would be the most important quality you would look for? the second most important quality? the third?
Not lieing, being kind, not rude, helping people.

Why was it so important to Strong Wind that his bride tell the truth?

He would know that she could do what she said she could do. An honest woman would make a good wife.

Thanks for the welcome message! I am so happy that you created this website. I am learning so much from other members. I love reading children's stories to my stuffed owl Hootie. I pretend that he is real. I also love telling stories to my friends, and I've found a lot of great ones from this people's posts. I can't wait to post some pictures later. I will have to put one up of me and Hootie. Have great day!

Hmmm... I wasn't aware of putting in my full name. And I'm not sure I like it coming up on the comment wall.
